<span style="color: #222222;">Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur has distributed helping aids to differently-abled people, in Leh today. In a medical camp organised by Fire and Fury in cooperation with Shree Bhagwan Mahaveer Vikalang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), over 500 different aids like Wheelchairs, tricycles, hearing aids, Sewing Machines and blankets were distributed.  To commemorate the Swarnim Vijay Varsh of the 1971 war, 14 Corps has organised the camp. Sofar, 1500 were provided with aids in three camps in Pratapur in Nubra, Kargil and Leh. Special camps for bordering areas like Tangtse and Kairey will be organized soon.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, LG RK Mathur appreciated the army efforts like mobile connectivity, medical camps and programmes like ignited minds to help the students and to uplift the living standards of several sections of the society in Ladakh.<br />''<br />''Mr. Mathur assured that the Union Territory administration would build government buildings that are friendly to the disabled population. He said medical camps and programmes for Divyangs would help them in joining the mainstream. He also said, new education policy has a special focus on divyangs. UT Administration also is planning special training programmes for teachers for a better understanding of needy divyang students.<br />''<br />''Jaipur Foot organization founder DR Mehta said, the Samiti is working on improving the living standards of divyangs with several aids. He said, Jaipur foot is best suitable for Indian conditions and quicker to arrange for the needy. GOC 14 Corps Lt Gen PGK Menon, and senior army officials also present on the occasion.</span><br />
