<span style="color: #222222;">Ladakh Lieutenant Governor R.K. Mathur  inspected arrangements at Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital, Leh turned into a COVID-19 hospital in the Union Territory.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Mathur inspected hospital rooms and the entire premises being prepared for the patients of COVID-19. He enquired about the availability of ventilators, oxygen cylinders, ICU ward, water supply and sanitation facilities in the hospital. Mr Mathur exhorted to ensure adequate availability of doctors and paramedical staff, security arrangements, maintenance, cleanliness and stocking of required materials in the hospital.<br />'' <br />'' The Covid-19 hospital has 42 beds, 15 ventilators, 5 ICU wards along with medical staffrooms with attached bathrooms and adequate stock of disposable bed sheets.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Mathur appreciated Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena for making the premises available for COVID-19 cases and spreading positivity through his prayers for the wellbeing of people across the globe in the times of pandemic.<br />''  <br />'' He also lauded the health professionals, nurses, paramedics, cleaners and other staff on duty for their magnificent job and exhorted them to take good care of the patients of COVID-19 and themselves.<br />''  <br />'' Mr Mathur was accompanied by Ladakh Health Commissioner/ Secretary Rigzin Samphel and Director Health, Dr Phuntsog Angchuk.  <br />'' <br />''<br />''Similarly, in Padum of Zanskar in Kargil district a development authority guest house is turned as 20 bed Covid-19 quarantine facility. </span>
