Ladakh LG chaired second Planning Board meeting on Friday

<span style="color: #222222;">Ladakh Lieutenant Governor R K Mathur chaired the second Planning Board meeting on Friday to discuss the formulation of Vision Document 2050. Various ministries of the Government of India, Niti Aayog and Ernst & Young contributed in preparing Ladakh Vision 2050.<br />'' <br />'' While addressing elected representatives and senior bureaucrats , Mr. Mathur said, the Vision 2050 should be Ladakh-specific and in harmony with its unique culture and identity. The concerns of the people of Ladakh such as protection of culture, land, environment and jobs would be incorporated as valuable inputs in Vision 2050, said Mathur.<br />'' <br />'' The Lieutenant Governor said, one of the major objectives of Vision 2050 is to achieve the goals set by the  Prime Minister to make Ladakh a carbon-neutral region in the country. This, Mathur said, would enable Ladakh to contribute to help in reducing carbon emission in the country, while achieving economic prosperity.  <br />'' <br />'' Ladakh Vision 2050 is in the public domain for suggestions and feedback from the public.</span><br />''
