Around 63 per cent polling was recorded
in Ladakh, the largest Lok Sabha constituency in the country in terms of area, where voting went off peacefully yesterday. .

Ladakh constituency, which is spread over two districts Leh and Kargil has a total of 1,59,631 electorate – 80,589 in Kargil and 79,042 in Leh.

As many as 62 per cent voting was registered in Leh district and 64 per cent in Kargil.

BJP, Congress and two independent candidates are in the fray.
