<span style="color: #222222;">In Ladakh, Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Project Zanskar yesterday conducted an awareness camp in two parts – at Panchayat Ghar Tungri and at Community Hall Tahan.<br />''</span><br />''At Panchayat Ghar Tungri more than 120 people participated in the camp including Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, senior citizens, women, and students of Tungri High School.<br />''<br />''The participants were briefed about different services and schemes of ICDS and the Social Welfare Department including umbrella ICDS, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Scholarships, and different Pension Schemes.<br />''<br />''At Community Hall Tahan, the majority of the participants were womenfolk who were briefed about the importance of services provided at Anganwadi centres and the need to bring their children (6 months to 6 years) and Pregnant and lactating mothers at Anganwadi Centres. They were also briefed about the need for good health and nutritional needs and different practices to meet them.<br />''<br />''PMMVY and different pension and scholarship schemes were also discussed.<br />''<br />''Later, supervisor ICDS Project Zanskar visited different Anganwadi Centres such as Tungri and Tahan.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Lastly, PRI Members appreciated and thanked the department for conducting such an awareness camp.</span><br />
