In the Union Territory Ladakh, the district level administration is gearing up for the Covid vaccination program. After the review by the Lieutenant Governor with the stakeholders, Leh and Kargil district deputy commissioners have set up taskforce to prepare the ground for the vaccination.<br />'' <br />'' Our Leh correspondent reports that Ladakh administration is preparing itself to effectively implement the Corona vaccination as per the Health Ministry instructions.Health staff, frontline workers and Senior citizens are given priority in the vaccination program.The Medical Officers have constituted the Adverse Effect Following Committee (AEFI), healthcare workers' data, vaccination session sites, vaccinators and Supervisory List are uploaded on the COWIN Portal. <br />'' <br />'' Vaccination program require cold chain infrastructure, logistics and trained medical staff to administer the vaccines on the target beneficiaries. The Administration is also utilising the servicesof Indian Airforce to reach out snow bound villages in the region.Leh DC Sachin Kumar and Kargil Deputy Commissioner Baseer ul Haq Choudhary are monitoring the preparations in respective districts.<br />'' <br />'' The SDMs are directed to get the vaccination teams constituted at block level. The army and paramilitary forces were also asked to prepare a micro plans of their respective corps.<br />''  <br />
