<span style="color: #222222;">In Ladakh, Dr Mohammad Raza, Director of Animal and Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries today called on the Chief Executive Councilor of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan and discussed about various issues pertaining to Kargil district.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Dr Mohammad Raza informed that proposal for importation of Karakul Sheep from Central Asian Countries is under submission for consideration to Administrative Department of UT, Ladakh, which once approves will help in improvement of Carpet Sector as well as the mutton industry.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Director further informed that formation of SHGs under SDP is under process for Yak Development in the District and further informed that UT Administration is preparing a compressive plan for Yak Development in Ladakh for which Director and a team of Doctors is visiting Sikkim very soon. He informed CEC about the vacancies lying vacant after filling only 25 per cent in the recent recruitments especially Class-IV.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Khan reiterated the commitment of LAHDC, Kargil to uplift the agriculture and allied sectors which will help directly to the farmers and said that farming should be related to tourism as a section of the tourism sector invest a lots of money to spend their time in home stays.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said that there is no shortage of funds in UT, Ladakh the need is to implement the schemes on ground in time and there should be proper training for human resource development along with a proper marketing plans so that the finished products of the SHGs and farmers will get a good market.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
