<span style="color: #222222;">In Ladakh, Kargil Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve today inaugurated the two-day Training-cum-Workshop for home stay owners of the Kargil district organised by the Tourism Department in collaboration with OYO.<br />''<br />''Speaking on this occasion, Mr Sukhadeve said that the vision of the UT Administration is to make Ladakh a unique tourism destination promoting responsible and sustainable tourism. He said that there are enough home stays in Kargil, still the crunch for rooms is visible in the market and this training will help home stay owners to develop the facility into a valuable product. This will help in expanding the scope of tourism in the villages, which presently is restricted to the city area only and making home stays a successful model for the promotion of tourism in Kargil. He appreciated the role of OYO in training the home stay owners into successful players in the tourism industry which will bring Kargil on the Map of Tourism.<br />''<br />''Assistant Director of Tourism Aga Syed Toha said that home stay has a great potential to cater the need of the tourists without hampering the ecological balance and fragile environment of Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''Director of Learning and Development Swati Sharma and  Senior Trainer from OYO, Delhi Neetu Sharma were the resource persons for the training programme.</span><br />
