Ladakh celebrates 2nd foundation day with a developmental note

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Territory Ladakh celebrated the 2nd foundation day with a developmental note. Leh, celebrated the foundation day with Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston in a grand style. Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston is being observed in Leh for the last Six years to celebrate the Glory of Leh-Ladakh.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR Correspondent reports, from Leh Polo Grounds, Ladakh LG RK Mathur has virtually inaugurated Oxygen plant in Tangtse and Nyoma, Sewerage Treatment Plant in Leh, 20 bedded hospital in GM Pore of Kargil and Helipads in various locations in Leh and Kargil and a foundation stone of Police Control Room and UTDRF HeadQuarters in Leh.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, RK Mathur said, with bright and innovative youth as assets Ladakh has a bright future. He assured that UT Administration would extend all support to the youth to engage them in productivity. UT Administration has focus on health, education and infrastructure development in the region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">L G Mathur presented Ladakh dPal rNgam Duston award, for this year, to Nawang Jamyang Chamba Stanzin also known as Thiksey Rinpoche for his services in public life as Rajya Sabha member and religious leader. LG Mathur inaugurated Eco Park in Leh town and unveiled the statue of UT Ladakh State bird Blacknecked Crane in the park. Similarly, at Polo Grounds, a new Tourism Logo is also released.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, at historic Leh Palace, Spal- gNam Tus-ton celebrations began in a traditional way with cultural programmes. From the Leh palace, the dignitaries walked through the Leh old town and rode on horses to the Polo Grounds.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Leh Hill Council CEC Tashi Gyaltson, MP Jaymyan Tsering Namgyal and senior UT Officials, Army, ITBP officials were present at the celebrations.</span><br />
