Ladakh Authorities organised first ever developmental conclave in Leh

<span style="color: #222222;">Authorities in Ladakh organised the first ever developmental conclave in Leh yesterday. The day-long conclave was chaired by Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur. Deliberations held on the action plans and vision of each department for the next five years in fulfilling the Ladakh Vision 2050. Developmental Conclave Ladakh is the first exercise by the government of Ladakh after formation of Union Territory.<br />''<br />''After becoming the Union Territory ,the government has organised a conclave to discuss the action plans for the next five years for inclusive and holistic development in  Ladakh region. In the conclave, the Administration focussed on the planning and policy formulation. Almost every action plan has been given thrust on the objectives of Carbon Neutral Ladakh. Heads of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council of Leh and Kargil and the Ladakh Member of Parliament Jamyang Tsering Namgail  also have participated in the conclave. The Secretaries in UT Administration have presented the action plans before the leaders who have also put forward their ideas and suggestions for improvement of the five year plan.  Regional Air Connectivity with establishment of new air strips, helipads, Human Resource improvement with education, skill development, Agriculture and animal & Sheep husbandry with a focus on rural economy, Industries & Tourism sectors, Health, Environment & forests and Wildlife with an emphasis on carbon neutrality, opportunities in power sector and renewable energy are some of the topics discussed in the conclave.</span><br />
