Chief Executive Councillor of LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the March Past. On the occasion, Kansing Ladakh, Snow and Ice Sculpture team showcased their talent by making beautiful Snow Sculptures of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Logo and Logo of the G20 Summit, which became a point of attraction as selfie points.<br />''<br />''In his address, Feroz Ahmad Khan highlighted various achievements of the Government in the last one year. He mentioned about the various initiatives of LAHDC, Kargil for the development of Kargil whether it be use of technology for making agriculture sector productive particularly through Subsidy Components, Education sector by introducing various schemes like Councillors Model Schools, Laptop Scheme and other initiatives to make quality education available at Government Schools, Sports development etc. He also mentioned the inauguration of the New District Hospital Kargil at Kurbathang which helped in world class health facilities for the people of Kargil.<br />''<br />''The Governor also highlighted the new employment opportunities created in the district. Republic Day functions were also held at LAHDC Secretariat Kargil, all Subdivisions, Block Headquarters, All India Radio Kargil Headquarter Baroo, AIR Drass, AIRTai Suru, AIR Padum, and various government offices, schools, colleges, housing complexes, social organisations and AIR Hombotingla at a Height of 13,500 Feet.</span><br />
