Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said that his Ministry is working on war-footing to facilitate cashless transfer of wages to workers with in order to promote digital transactions. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Dattatreya said a campaign was launched on 26th of last month for opening bank accounts of workers especially in unorganized sector like construction and Anganwadi, Asha and cine workers who still do not have bank accounts.<br/><br/>He said, the objective of the campaign is to ensure that all workers come into banking fold and their wages are paid directly into their account.
