Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar today conferred 28 Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar and 128 National Safety Awards for 2016 in New Delhi. <br />''<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, Mr Gangwar said that there are around six crore organized sector workers who are getting benefits of EPFO and ESIC. <br />''<br />''<br />''He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is especially concerned about 40 crore unorganized sector workers. <br />''<br />''<br />''The Minister said Centre has taken many steps to enhance their working conditions, safety and social security in order to improve their standard of living. <br />''<br />''<br />''He said the government is concerned for well being and safety of women workers too. Recently, Creche facility for the organization with 50 or more workers has been made compulsory. He said the honorarium of 14 lakh Anganwadi workers has been increased from 3000 rupees per month to 4500 rupees per month.<br />''<br />''<br />''Mr Gangwar further said that his ministry is making efforts to increase employment opportunities through Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Protsahan Yojana.<br />
