Kamla Advani, wife of senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani passed away in New Delhi this evening. She breathed her last at the All India Institute of Medical Science. She was admitted there today following complaints of chest pain.<br/><br/>President and Prime Minister have expressed grief over the passing away of Kamla Advani. In a tweet, President Pranab Mukherjee said, Kamla Advani was soft, cultured and left a lasting impression on whomsoever she met. <br/><br/>Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, Kamla Advani always inspired and motivated party workers and she was L K Advani's pillar of strength.<br/> <br/>BJP president Amit Shah said, he is deeply saddened by the demise of Kamla Advani and may God give strength to to Advani family to bear the great pain. <br/><br/>Congress President Sonia Gandhi also extended her condolences to Lal Krishna Advani and said, she shares the pain caused by their loss and prayed for the departed soul. Several Union Ministers also expressed their condolence.
