Veteran BJP leader L. K. Advani has expressed unhappiness over the continued deadlock in Parliament on demonetization. When the Lok Sabha adjourned for the day, Mr. Advani, while talking to some opposition members, is believed to have said that adjourning the House sine die without discussion will give a bad name. <br/><br/>He also said, whoever wins in this tussle between government and opposition at the end, it will be a defeat for Parliament. Later, TMC MP Idris Ali, who was talking to the BJP leader in the House, said that Mr. Advani told him that he feels like resigning.<br/><br/> Mr Advani recalled that had, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee been in the Parliament today, he would have been upset. It is the second time in this session when the BJP stalwart has expressed his anguish on the frequent disruptions. <br/><br/>Reacting to it, Information and Broadcasting Minister Venakaiah Naidu said, Mr. Advani is a senior leader and he is sad over the disruptions and the House should run smoothly.
