Kyrgyz deadly ethnic clashes forced 4 lakh people to flee their country, says UN

Deadly inter-ethnic clashes that erupted in Kyrgyzstan a week ago have forced at least Four lakh people to flee the country or their home. <br/><br/>UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs spokeswoman Elisabeth Byrs said in Geneva that the number who had taken refuge in neighbouring Uzbekistan is estimated at between 75,000 and 100,000 people, counting only the adults. She said, the number of displaced is now about three lakh people.<br/><br/>The clashes between Kyrgyzstan's ethnic Kyrgyz and Uzbek communities have left at least 191 people dead and nearly 2,000 wounded.
