In Kyrgyzstan, five parties won seats in the Parliament, with none gaining a majority. The country's Election Chief released the long-awaited results of landmark parliamentary elections which was held on 10th october, opening the way for the formation of a new coalition government in the country. The delay in releasing the results had raised fears of fresh unrest, in the wake of the vote to create Central Asia's first parliamentary democracy.
