Kuwait's Prime Minister has survived a no-confidence vote in parliament. The no-confidence motion stemmed from allegations that he favored relations with Iran over those with other nations in the region. The lawmakers defeated the motion with 25 members voting in support of Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammed al-Ahmad al-Sabah and 18 others backing the no-confidence measure. It is the second time this year he has survived a no-confidence vote, after parliament narrowly defeated a similar measure in January. The Prime Minister is a nephew of Kuwait's ruling emir.
