As per the notification the Bangarmau seat has been termed vacant from 20 December 2019. It is the same date when a Delhi court had pronounced its verdict of life imprisonment. <br />''<br />'' Sengar, a four-term MLA, was expelled by the BJP in August 2019 following furore after his name cropped up in a rape case of Makhi village in Unnao district. The girl attempted self-immolation outside the chief minister's residence in April 2017 when the police did not take action on her complaint.</span><br />
