Kut, the biggest harvesting festival of Kuki-Chin-Mizo people in Manipur was celebrated on Monday with pomp and gaitey. The main function was organised at Manipur Rifles parade ground in Imphal where different tribes performed their traditional dances and other folk items. The Governor, Gurbachat Jagat and Chief Minister, Ibobi Singh wished that the celebration of Kut festival would bring unity of all people in the state.
