The Karnataka legislative Assembly Speaker K.G. Boppaiah has announced the formation of a House Committee to probe the incident of three former BJP ministers watching porn video in the House. A seven member Committee headed by BJP MLA Srisaila Bidaruru has been constituted for the purpose.S.R. Vishwanath, Nehru Olekar and Suresh Gowda of BJP are its members. Amaregowda Bayyapura and H.C. Mahadevappa from Congress and Dinakar Keshava Shetty from Janatha Dal(S) are the Opposition party members of the Committee.The Committee has been asked to submit its findings by March 13th. Lakshman Savadi, C.C. Patil and Krishna Palemar resigned as ministers, after electronic channels showed them watching porn video in the Assembly on seventh of this month.The Opposition has been demanding for their disqualification from Assembly membership.But the Speaker had ruled that a report from a House Committee will be sought before initiating any action against these MLAs.
