In Karnataka, the Officer on Special duty monitoring election expenditure, Pankaj Kumar Pandey has said that fool proof system is in place for accounting the expenditure incurred by the candidates during the election.

Talking to All India Radio in Bangalore, Mr. Pandey said that adequate precautions have been taken in this regard.
