A Lokayuktha Court in Karnataka has ordered probe into complaint of denotification of land against Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani on Monday. Acting on a complaint filed by Alam Pasha, the Lokayuktha Special Judge N K Sudhindra Rao directed Lokayuktha Police to investigate the charges against the minister. It is alleged in the complaint that Nirani misused his position as Industries Minister and floated a number of non-existent companies and denotified Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board land in Devanahalli and Dobbaspet to benefit his family members and others, causing over 130 crore rupees loss to the exchequer.
