The outgoing Chief Minister of Karnataka, D.V. Sadananda Gowda met Governor H.R. Bhardwaj to submit his resignation letter. The Rural Development Minister in the previous government, Jagdish Shetter was elected new legislative party leader yesterday. The Chief Minister-elect Mr. Shetter is likely to meet the Governor in the afternoon to stake claim for the formation of the new government.Mr. Jagdish Shetter will be sworn-in as the Chief Minister tomorrow.
