<span style="color: #222222;">The Karnataka Government appointed Experts Committee on COVID 19 gave its suggestions today on protocols and guidelines to be followed for home quarantine, contact tracing, testing and treatment. Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa informed media persons after the meeting in Bengaluru today that Government will suitably adopt the suggestions given by the Experts committee. <br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports that, </span>the experts gave their opinion on the ways to reduce the doubling period and precautionary measures to be taken in closed places, close contact and crowded areas. <br />''<br />''The experts opined that asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic patients could be kept in home isolation to reduce the burden on hospitals. COVID hospitals they pointed out must focus on serious comorbid patients. <br />''<br />''They advised extensive use of tele-medicine and tele-ICU services. Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai informed that NGOs, volunteers, municipal workers, police and home guards will make concerted efforts to ensure proper home quarantine. Over 600 auto rickshaws in Bengaluru will be used to create awareness on curfew norms and sealdown guidelines. He informed that over 60000 volunteers have registered to provide helping hand in COVID containment measures.<br />
