In Karnataka, former Chief Minister, B.S.Yeddyurappa has announced his resignation from Legislative Assembly and from primary membership of BJP party.

Proceeding in a procession from Freedom Park he is slated to submit his resignation to the Speaker in shortwhile from now.

Speaking to mediapersons in Bangalore today morning he said that it is painful to leave BJP after working hard to build it in the state.

He criticised a few leaders of the state BJP for working against him and forcing him to resign as Chief Minister.
