Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister R Ashoka arrived in Imphal this afternoon to instill confidence of safety and security among North-East people including students in Manipur.

Speaking to our Imphal Correspondent at the Tulihal Airport in Imphal, Mr, Ashoka said, there is no single incident of harassing North-East people including students in Karanataka so far.

He said that state government has taken up adequate measures for safety and security of North-East people in the state. He said, police have arrested about 20 people for allegedly being involved in spreading rumours of communal hatred.
