In Karnataka, 14 candidates are left in the field for the March 18 by-election to Uudpi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha seat. Seven candidates withdrew their nomination papers on the last day of withdrawal today.K Jayaprakash Hegde of Congress, V Sunil Kumar ,BJP and Boje Gowda JDS are among the candidates in the field.The seat fell vacant with Sadananda Gowda becoming the Chief Minister.
