In Karnataka, the budget session of Legislative Assembly and Council began in Bangalore today. The House paid its respects to departed leader Dr. V S Acharya. Earlier the leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, Siddaramaiah raised the issue of internal feud in BJP and charged that the Chief Minister has lost the confidence of the House.He noted that several members from the ruling party have not come to the House and pointed out that sufficient notice was not given to Members of the House about convening the Budget session. On the other side Water Resources Minister Basavaraj Bommai, loyal to former Chief Minister B S Yeddurappa, informed media persons in a resort today that their faction has asked the Central leaders to assess the political situation in the state after Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda presents the budget tomorrow. He also pointed out that four MLAs from their faction have been asked to represent them in the Assembly during the Budget session.
