<br/>The External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M. Krishna is leaving on a three day visit to Pakistan on Wednesday. During his stay in Islamabad he will hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart to work out the modesties of restoring the trust and confidence. According to an External Affairs Ministry spokesman this will pave the way for a substantive dialogue on the issues of mutual concern. <br/><br/>Mr. Krishna is visiting in Islamabad on the invitation of their foreign minister Shah Mohamad Qureshi. The preparatory work for the ministerial level meeting was done in the talks between the two Foreign Secretaries last month. Our correspondent reports that this is the second high level contact between the two countries since last month. <br/><br/>The Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram visited Islamabad last month to participate in the SAARC ministerial meeting and held discussions on the sidelines of the meeting with his Pakistani counterpart. The meeting of the two foreign ministers is in pursuance in the mandate given to them by the Prime Ministers of the two countries during their meeting at Thimpu in April this year.
