The External Affairs Minister SM Krishna will hold talks with the senior leaders in Israel today on a wide gamut of bilateral issues.
The focus would be on strengthening bilateral ties in the areas of security, defence, agriculture, trade and commerce.
The two countries will also look forward to enhance co-operation in Anti terror measures.
It is a packed day for the External Affairs Minister in Tel Aviv as he meets the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and his counterpart in Israel, the Foreign Minister Avigador Lieberman in Tel Aviv today. It will be followed by the delegation level talks and agreement signing.
The two major agreements expected are on extradition and transfer of prisoners.
Mr. SM Krishna will also visit the Indian war cemetery in Jerusalem today. The cemetery was used from July 1918 to June 1920 and contains graves of 79 Indian soldiers of the First World War.
