<br/>External affairs minister Mr S. M. Krishna is visiting Afghanistan capital of Kabul from Monday to attend an international conference on Tuesday meant to discuss Afghanistan future. He will be leading a high-level delegation for the conference which will discuss improvement in Afghan security, governance and economy. <br/> <br/>Mr. Krishna is likely to meet his Afghan counterpart Dr. Zalmay Rasoul and discuss ways to improve bilateral relations between India and Afghanistan. <br/> <br/>The external affairs minister may also meet US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton to discuss the volatile situation in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region. India is the fifth largest donor for reconstruction of Afghanistan and has committed around 1.2 billion US dollars in aid. <br/> <br/>Afghan government has recently launched peace process with Taliban-led militant groups which India is concerned that it may end up propping up Pakistan-backed anti-India Taliban elements back in power in Kabul. More than 70 countries and international organizations will be represented at the conference.<br/>
