In a step forward towards normalisation of relations between India and Pakistan the External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M. Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi will meet in Islamabad on the fifteenth of July . The Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram will also have bilateral meeting with Pakistan's Interior Minister in Pakistan on the sidelines of the SAARC Home Ministers conference on the 26th of next month. The Foreign Secretaries of the two countries will also meet on the same date. This was decided during the telephonic coversation between Mr. Krishna and Mr. Qureshi today. Mr. Krishna said later that the talks will help bridge the trust deficit between the two countries. He also said that he is looking forward to his visit to Pakistan. Today's conversation came as the follow up of the meeting of the Prime Ministers of the two countries held in Thimpu where it was decided that the foreign ministers and foreign secretaries of the two countries will meet as soon as possible. <br/>Mr. Qureshi described his conversation today with Mr. Krishna as good and encouraging.
