Krishna, Qureshi likely to talk soon

India Pakistan are in touch with each other to identify the time slot for the Foreign Ministers of the two countries to discuss on phone the modalities for reducing trust deficit between the two neghbouring countries.<br/><br/>The External Affairs Ministry spokesman said in New Delhi today that the Prime Ministers of the two countries had asked their External Affairs Ministers and Foreign Secretaries to meet as soon as possible. He said that the framework is there and the only thing is to try and identify a mutually convenient time slot to have the telephone conversation.<br/><br/>Earlier on Thursday the External Affairs Minister Mr. SM Krishna had told Rajya Sabha that there has been a transformation in the ties between the two countries with assurance coming from Pakistan at the level of the prime Minister that India's core concerns on terror will be addressed adequately. Mr. Krishna had informed the House that he will be talking to his Pakistani counterpart to workout modalities to reduce deficit. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister is leaving for Kazkhstan tomorrow on a three day visit. <br/>
