The External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M Krishna is likely to discuss with his Pakistani counterpart Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi over telephone the modalities to reduce trust deficit between the two neighbours. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vishnu Prakash said today that the two sides are in touch with each other to identify the time slot for conversation over phone<br/><br/>Earlier while informing Rajya Sabha that will be talking to his Pakistani counterpart , the External Affairs Minister said India has decided to have dialogue as there has been a transformation in the ties between the two countries with assurance coming from Pakistan at the level of the prime Minister that New Delhi's core concerns on terror will be addressed adequately.<br/><br/>According to the External Affairs Ministry spokesman the Prime Ministers of the two countries had asked their External Affairs Ministers and Foreign Secretaries to meet as soon as possible. They gave these directions after their meeting on the sidelines of the SAARC summit in Thimpu last month. He said that there is a the framework for such a discussion, the only thing is identify a time slot. <br/><br/>Meanwhile the Pakistan Foreign Minister has said that he is looking forward to his telephonic talks with Mr. S.M Krishna.<br/><br/>Mr. Qureshi said that India-Pakistan peace process can achieve concrete results only if the dialogue between the two countries continues without interruption. He was speaking at a meeting with a group of former foreign ministers, foreign secretaries and ambassadors to consult them on the resumption of the peace process with India.
