Krishna, Qureshi expected to hold telephonic talk today

External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi are expected to hold a telephonic talk later today. They are likely to discuss ways to reduce trust deficit in pursuance to the decision reached between prime ministers of the two countries on the sidelines of the SAARC summit in Thimpu last month. <br/>Earlier, Mr Krishna had told Rajya Sabha that he would talk to the Pakistan foreign minister. The two foreign ministers are also expected to discuss when and where they will meet next. <br/>They are also likely to discuss the next meeting of the foreign secretaries. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Foreign Minister has said that he is looking forward to his telephonic talks with Mr. S.M Krishna. Mr. Qureshi said that India-Pakistan peace process can achieve concrete results only if the dialogue between the two countries continues without interruption. <br/><br/>
