The External Affairs Minister S M Krishna on Wednesday met Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and informed her of the steps taken by the government on the killing of Indian fisherman in Srilanka. Mr. Krishna met Swaraj after she had expressed concern over certain issues. According to Ministry of External Affairs Mrs. Swaraj was also informed about the Indians being brought back from Egypt and about the issue of Indian students in the United States. Mr. Krishna said that the Government has told the US in unequivocal terms that the treatment given to Indian students was unacceptable to India. Mrs. Swaraj later told reporters that she was satisfied with the efforts made by the government.
