External Affairs Minister Mr. S M Krishna has said that India and the ASEAN must upgrade and strengthen their engagement to combat common problems and ensure sustained economic growth in the region. He said this while addressing the India-ASEAN Ministerial meet in Bali, Indonesia, as a Co-Chairperson. Highlighting the challenges posed by transnational non-traditional security threats, he stressed the need for greater connectivity among people belonging to the ASEAN countries and suggested use of virtual networks for the same.
