The Bombay High Court on Thursday directed the State Anti-Corruption Bureau, Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate to complete their enquiry against former Maharashtra minister and MLA Kripashanker Singh within four weeks and also asked the three investigating agencies to share information among themselves. A division bench of Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice S J Vazifdar was hearing a public interest litigation filed by one Sanjay Tiwari alleging that Singh had amassed wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income. The PIL also alleged that the Mumbai Congress chief had close proximity with former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda (currently in jail for his alleged involvement in a multi-crore Hawala scam) and a lot of money transactions took place between them. The ED today however reiterated that no link has been found between Singh and Koda.
