KPCC submits memorandum seeking CBI enquiry

The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee under the leadership of State President R V Deshpande submitted a memorandum to the Governor on Saturday, demanding CBI enquiry against illegal mining by the BJP ministers and brothers Janardhan Reddy and Karunakara Reddy. The party is planning three days State wide protest from Monday demanding ouster of the Reddy brothers from the cabinet and CBI enquiry against them. Speaking to the media persons after submitting the memorandum R V Deshpande alleged that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa is safequarding the Reddy brothers, against whom the Central Government has ordered CBI enquiry. He also charged that the State government has failed in properly utilizing Central relief funds meant for the flood victims of North Karnataka and are indulging in corruption at all levels.<br/>
