Korea Open: Saina Nehwal crashes out of Women's Singles event

In the BWF Victor Korea Open Badminton tournament at Seoul, India's Shuttle Queen Saina Nehwal has crashed out of the Women's Singles event, as she lost her quarter-final match to a lower ranked Yanjiao Jiang of China.<br/><br/>World Number 4, Saina lost to the sixth seed Chinese 17-21, 10-21, ending India's hopes of a singles title in the first BWF event of the year.<br/><br/>In the mixed doubles event, the Indian duo of Jwala Gutta and V. Diju will play their quarter-final match today.<br/><br/>Jwala Gutta and V. Diju will meet the third seeded Danish pair of Christinna Pedersen and Joachim Fischer Nielsen.<br/><br/>Yesterday, the Indian duo of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa crashed out in the pre-quarterfinals of the Women's Doubles event, after losing to the top seeded Chinese pair of Xiaoli Wang and Yang Yu, 10-21, 17-21.<br/><br/>
