After a gap of 12 days, Konkan railway is finally set to restart from tomorrow. This decision was taken after a successful trial of track. Railway track was affected because of land slide on the Ratnagiri to Adavli route following the heavy rainfall. Press release of Konkan Railway has mention that around 3.25 crore rupees were spent in order to remove the land slide and repairing of track. Meanwhile, the speed of trains will be controlled up to 10 kilometres per hour in land slide affected area.
