M.C. Mary Kom, Guru Rewben Mashangva and Binny Yanaga will be conferred with National Tribal Awards for the year 2011-12. Mrs. Kom has been selected for this award as the Best Janjatiya Achiever for outstanding achievement in the field of sports while Mr. Mashangva will be awarded for outstanding contribution in the field of tribal art and culture.

Mrs. Yanaga will get the award for exemplary community Service to the Scheduled Tribes. The award will be conferred by the Tribal Affairs Minister, Kishore Chandra Deo during the National Tribal Festival starting in New Delhi on Tuesday.
