Kolkata Knight Riders continued their dream run as they beat Delhi Daredevils easily in the Indian Premier League match in Kolkata today. After Daredevils managed a modest 160 runs on board the hosts chased down the target in 16.2 overs with seven wickets in hand. Skipper Gautam Gambhir again played the sheet-anchor role with his resolute 71 off 51 balls. He and Robin Utthappa added 108 runs for second wicket. Utthappa hit 4 sixes on way to his 59 before getting run out. Earlier put into bat first the Daredevils made 160 for six thanks to a fantastic knock of 60 by opener Sanju Samson off 38 balls which included three sixes and four fours and Shreyas Iyer who struck 47. In the points table Kolkata Knight Riders are on top with 14 points. Mumbai Indians with 12 points are in the second place while having 9 points Sunrisers Hyderabad are on third position. In another match starting at 8 pm this evening, Kings XI Punjab won the toss against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mohali and elected to field.
