Indian Skipper MS Dhoni will miss the first test against Australia which begins in Adelaide tomorrow. Dhoni has been suffering from a thumb injury and was a doubt for the series opener. Virat Kohli will lead the Indian side tomorrow. There are also reports that paceman Bhuvneshwar Kumar has suffered an ankle injury, and is likely to miss the first Test.Meanwhile, Australian Skipper Michael Clarke has been declared fit for the first Test. Clarke was doubtful for the opening test as he had suffered a hamstring injury. For the match, Phillip Hughes, who died after being hit by a bouncer, has been named as the 13th man. The match, which has been declared a celebration of Hughes' life, will witness Australian players wearing 408 – Hughes' Test number – on their shirts.
