Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti today said that North Koel Reservoir Project once completed will be very beneficial for Bihar and Jharkhand.Talking to AIR, about the Cabinet decision of approving the completion of remaining work of the project, Ms Bharti said, the project will help irrigate over one lakh 11 thousand hectare land in both the States. <br/><br/>She said, the total work of the project will be completed in 2 years and six month.<br/> <br/>Ms Bharti also said, the Koel Project will help remove rural disparity in Jharkhand. She said, afforrestation work will be carried out at large scale which will give more emplyment opportunity in the state.
