Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda, is admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi following reports to stomach pain. He is facing charges of amassing wealth illegally. Talking to AIR, IT department’s Director General for Investigation said Koda is not fully cooperating in the investigation. Investigation is in progress and IT officials are in touch with doctor following admission of Koda in the hospital. Koda was interrogated on camera on Monday to get his statements records on video for proof while the I-T department and Enforcement Directorate officials continue searches in cities across the country. The I-T department, which is probing a disproportionate assets allegation against Koda and his associates, Saturday conducted raids at 70 places in eight cities and discovered documents relating to illegal transactions worth thousand crores.
