With the first one day international cricket match between India and Australia all set to begin at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Sunday, cricket frenzy has gripped the port city of Kochi. Although the weather in Kochi this morning is bright and sunny, possibility of occasional rains have put a big question mark on the conduct of the match.The practice session for the two teams was cancelled on Friday due to the showers. The pitch and the outfield are under covers and efforts are continuing to keep them dry. The possibility of rain has however not dampened the spirits of the cricket lovers who are keeping their fingers crossed hoping fervently that the match will go ahead as scheduled.
