BJP MP Kirti Azad today said that he has not done anything against the party line and urged the party spokespersons to be careful while speaking in public. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Mr Azad said he staunchly worked for the party for years and a lot of people are jealous about this. He said, it is not justified to defame him. Rather, he said, they should respond to the allegations that he has levied in DDCA case. Mr Azad also rejected the charges of anti-party activities saying it's not true, adding that he has supported his party in its fight against corruption.

Last week, Mr Azad was suspended from the party for defying party line on Delhi and District Cricket Association, DDCA, issue. Mr. Azad has been continuously targeting Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over alleged irregularities in DDCA.
