In Rajasthan, police arrested MP Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena and four BJP and CPIM MLAs in Jaipur for breaching peace and provoking sarpanchs. Sarpanchs are demanding change in contract system for construction work under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme. Their dharna is continuing for the last three days in Jaipur. On Friday they announced a march to assembly and the MP and MLAs were present with the Sarpanchs. AIR correspondent reports that BJP MLAs strongly protested the arrest of MLAs in the assembly and amid hue and cry the House was adjourned sine-die.
